As the body and mind transitions from Childhood to Adulthood our children are introduced to new stressors from internal as well as external sources. Our Tween/Teen Yoga class is designed to strengthen muscles, and bones, reduce stress, promote inner peace, increase self confidence, build better focus, and enhance mental clarity. We focus on self acceptance and promote the importance of gratitude for their unique characteristics.
After their yoga practice they will move on to a workshop taught by our featured co-host. This workshop will teach them important self care techniques. We will then come together as a whole enjoy some healthy snacks and watch an age appropriate movie. We hope to cultivate a feeling of community and support for one another.
Cost: $15 for first child - $5 off each additional child
They will be learing to upcycle so please have them bring an old pair of jeans or a used pair for a thrift store.
