If you received a terminal diagnosis and had one year of life left, what would you do? Would you alter your lifestyle? Would you right all your wrongs? Would you finally complete your bucket list? Would you spend it grieving over the life you failed to live? Would your view of the world change?
Naturally, we fend off the thought of death; we avoid the feelings that arise and push through each day living for the future and reliving our past. We neglect to be in the present moment. In this year-long workshop, we will prepare for your death. Each month we will work through your last year of life. We will learn how to cultivate a life worth living by being present in each moment, living each day mindfully, and each minute as if it were your last.
The workshop will give you an opportunity that does not happen in most natural deaths. It gives you time to handle unfinished business that you have been pushing off, being to cultivate a new and empowering relationship with your life.
We will work through this process by guided meditations, self-discovery practices, self-care techniques, and Stephen Levine's practical death strategies.
Price: We will meet twice a month to work through our last year of life. This workshop is donation based; donations we are accepted at the time of each session or a one-time donation. We leave the amount and when you donate up to each participant.
Pre-Requisite: Once you enroll in the workshop you will receive your Pre-requisite reading.
