Eighteenth Element Yoga 200hr YTT
EEY is an approved Yoga Alliance school. Our YTT follows the studio's mission statement and training is centered on Trauma Sensitive instructing. EEY works to be innovative and fit the needs of all students, we offer our 200hr training is a hybrid platform. When you are not in class you will be in virtual school. This allows students to have access to the YTT instructors and their fellow classmates 24/7.
In order to keep constancy in training your tuition includes: Liforme Mat, Three Minute Eggs (set of 6 4 Namasteggs and 2 NYOB), Yoga Rope
WHAT MAKES THIS TRAINING DIFFERENT?
This training was designed to allow yogis the time to truly comprehend the topics covered. We offer a hybrid learning format with 207 Contact hours with the instructors and an additional 100 hours of training via our blackboard site. This training also offers a 9-12 week mentorship included in the training cost after graduation. We will teach instructors on a trauma sensitive format to allow them to market themselves as Trauma informed and trained instructors.
Attend 90% of all required classes and events – Make up days will be available if scheduled in advance.
100% participation on Blackboard assignments and discussions weekly.
Completion of 5 Karma Classes, 2 workshops and community service project.
Submit a practice log and self-care journals.
Submission of observation logs.
Completion of Anatomy exams with a passing grade of 80%.
Passing assessment of core concepts taught for trauma sensitive approaches, and requirements.
EEY meets and exceeds the Yoga Alliance 165hr contact hour training. Students will recieve 207hrs of in person training. Students are also given online access to the EEY Blackboard Platform where they will complete an additional 40 hrs of training.
Trauma Sensitive Training
Students will learn how to adapt any class to be a "Trauma Sensitive" class. Students will learn tools to assist those suffering from traumatic events to help them reconnect with their bodies. Students will learn the 5 principles of "Trauma Sensitve" class strutur eand how to apply them. Students will learn how to adapt postures to an individuals need.
Real World Application
We support our students by giving them Real World Application of their training. Students will work with the YTT instructors in creating their own Workshop. Students will utilize their training and incorporate their passion to develop their authentic self. The workshop will be marketed to outside participants twice throughout the training. YTT teachers will help assist in marketing, development, workshop outline and feedback. Students will also teach 5 "Karma" classes throughout their training.
Following completion of the Teaching Certification, students will receive an additional 9 weeks of mentorship training. EEY's mentorship allows students to teach in a public setting with the assistance of EEY staff members. Students learn how to grow, adapt and become comfortable as teachers. Eventually students will be added on the studio schedule and teach on their own. This allows teaching experience to add to a resume.

*If Payment plan is selected 1/2 of tuition option must be paid by February 26th. Final payments must be made by May 1st. DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. PAYMENTS IN FULL HAVE A $250 NON-REFUNDABLE FEE.
